well, let's see . . . should we talk about the things that have already happened, or should we talk about what we expect? screw it, we'll do both.
first off, we have set up the first two shoots for our newest side of the company . . . our digital video/commercial venture. we have decided to add this service to our list b/c we noticed that there really aren't very many other digital marketing companies out there doing this right now but there is a huge need for it. if you think about how often videos are shared on the intraweb and how effective good videos are for companies, it just makes sense. now, if you've some of our other posts, you will have read how we are pretty tired of the same type of commercials out there and how we think we could do better. well, instead of just standing here and saying things, we decided to put our money (literally) where our mouth is and start creating awesome effective commercials. we have decided to keep things very low budget (for right now) to help pass savings onto our clients we are working with. we do all of the treatments, scripting, filming, acting, and editing ourselves so we don't have to pay a third party or have to succumb to other people's schedules. like all of our other services, we feel that smaller companies really need all the options of services out there to truly compete . . . so there you go. be looking for these videos around the end of the month.
so, let's move on to what we have planned. as for now, we are in talks with a couple possible new clients . . . so cross your fingers for that. also, we are planning on sponsoring the blue springs chamber luncheon in august. we're planning on doing something completely different when we get up to talk about havik . . . which is only fitting b/c we are anything but traditional here. we are hoping to bring on some new talent here by the end of the year - this can only happen if we keep getting great clients . . . so again, cross your fingers. with the new talent we are hoping to allow me (andrew) to work more on creating new services and expanding our book of clients. we'll keep you posted on any new job openings we have available.
that's it for now for us. since the year is still so new there's really nothing too much to talk about. but things will come up, don't you worry.
